This slim volume launches the H83 Documenta series, a publishing project by Habitat Ottantatré in collaboration with Lazy Dog Press. The series transforms temporary exhibitions into lasting editorial formats. This particular volume accompanies the exhibition Devenīre by Federico Gori, held from October 5 to December 7, 2024, and explores themes of permanence and impermanence in nature. The exhibition featured over 200 square meters of visual storytelling, highlighting Gori's reflections on resilience, rituals, and transformations in the natural world, drawing on a decade of artistic research.
The booklet serves as both a record of the exhibition and a standalone editorial piece, blending essay writing, journalism, catalog, and artist book formats. Each of the 130 copies is unique, with Federico Gori personally working on each cover, making the publication not just a reading experience but also a collectible art object.
